Wi-Fi / Cell Phones

"Wi-Fi" stands for "Wireless Fidelity" and enables the transmission of data over wireless networks.

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is not federally regulated in the same manner as essential communications, and to install and use this technology is a choice that falls outside any mandated regulations.

Any personal injury liability stemming from exposure to this harmful environmental toxin may be shifted downward from the industry to the government agency, employer, school or business promoting its use, thereby actively exposing individuals to health risks, the potential for which is clearly outlined in scientific evidence.

Long Term Care and Wi-Fi

Letter to Long Term Care Task Force

More letters such as this one would be helpful in this task force Initiative. Contact task force website at http://longtermcaretaskforce.ca/index.php

". . . The most important thing the Task Force can do is to demand that wireless systems be immediately removed from all long-term care homes, and that cell phone base stations not be allowed on or near the homes. Please do not allow the fact that the use of cell phones and other wireless technology has become widespread and effectively normalized to deceive you into thinking that the radiation from these devices has no harmful biologic effects. There are a significant and increasing number of people who cannot tolerate exposure to RF radiation, and the elderly and disabled are more likely than the rest of us to experience serious suffering from this technology."
