Magnetic Field Exposure Before Birth May Contribute to Childhood Obesity

"Research studies find that children exposed before birth to high levels of magnetic fields from common household appliances are at increased risk of becoming overweight or obese and developing asthma. The first study to find an association between prenatal exposure to magnetic fields (MF) and childhood obesity risk was published online today in Nature's Scientific Reports. Exposure to a relatively high MF level prior to birth was associated with increased risk of becoming obese or overweight during childhood . . .
